Every now and then a collaboration comes along that has our hearts (and wallets) aflutter. One such collaboration is that between Balenciaga and Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. Demna Gvsalia has teamed up with the online retailers to create two exclusive capsule collections — one for men and one for women − that launch on site today.

The capsules mark the first time the brand has ever created something like this for a retailer across both men's and women's wear. Both sites will carry a selection of clothing, bags and accessories inspired by the brand's S/S18 runway collection which have been redesigned in limited edition colourways.

The women's collection features 53 pieces including tees, shirts, dresses and denim with several styles certain to become cult favourites. See the full offering below:

Over on Mr Porter, the men's collection is made up of 34 pieces with a distinct focus on outerwear. One of the most exciting inclusions in the capsule is an exclusive version of the brand's iconic Triple S sneaker in green. Discover the pieces below:

 

The capsule is accompanied by a campaign shoot that was shot in the Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter headquarters in London. Incredibly, the models used are staff members from both companies. 

On designing the capsule, Demna said: "The exclusive collection for Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter creates a complete wardrobe of Balenciaga styles known from previous seasons. We have redesigned this selection of styles for women and men in new and special fabrics and dedicated colours."
