Gucci’s iconic Ace sneaker gets a digital dose of the limelight, with a cohort of artist’s impressions shared on Snapchat…

Gucci has launched a digital project, aptly titled #24HourAce, which sees artists from around the world converge on the fashion brand's Snapchat and Instagram accounts. Designed to focus on Gucci's iconic Ace sneaker, Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele, tapped artists from around the world to create their view of the shoe as told through as series of short films and curated photos.

The #24HourAce project includes works in several mixed media formats – animation, stop-motion and narrative-based film making – created by Koren longboarder Hyo Koo Ko, New York-based gothic artist Sue de Beer, Norwegian Snapchat influencer Geeoh Snap, Brazilian street artist Ananda Nahu and Hong Kong director Frank Nitty, just to name a few.
