It's just been confirmed that Anthony Vaccarello will take the helm at Saint Laurent, after it was announced late last week that Hedi Slimane was out at the fashion house. When Slimane's four-year contract wasn't renewed, the rumour mill went into overdrive about who would replace the Tunisian-French designer at the French fashion house.

While Saint Laurent are yet to make an official statement regarding the appointment of Vaccarello as the Creative Director, today's news came as no surprise. Vaccarello himself only left his post at Versus Versace this morning.
