Bottega Veneta has launched Behind the Intrecciato, a global exhibition, which explores the intricate weaving of their signature handbags. Marking the house's golden jubilee, as well as the 15th anniversary of Creative Director Tomas Maier's reign, the installation will chart the course of the brand's history and evolution, giving an insight into the creative processes through a clever narrative based on three of its signature pieces: the Veneta, the Cabat and the Knot, all of which showcase the craftsmanship, artistry, creativity and identity of the maison.

Bottega Veneta's trademark intrecciato motif

The exhibition, which starts its journey in Dubai, features larger-than-life bags that house a combination of video installations and historical handbags that allows viewers to learn more about Bottega Veneta's heritage, culture as well as its modern direction. More importantly, the installation also provides viewers the reasoning behind the brand's iconic motif and the functionality that drives its design.

Behind the Intrecciato by Bottega Veneta will run from February 18-27 at Fashion Avenue, The Dubai Mall.
