Guillaume Henry – who designed both Carven's women's and men's collections for five years – announced his departure from the luxury label last year to take on the role of creative director of Nina Ricci. Now, three months later, Carven has found its new men's match...

The brand has chosen Barnabé Hardy – the former menswear designer at Balenciaga – as its new menswear successor, who will present his first Carven collection for Spring/Summer 2016.

However, the search still continues on the female front as the brand has reportedly been given no time frame for the nomination of its new women's designer.
