Borrowing his inspiration from rich old tapestries and using fabrics manufactured especially for him, Singapore-born Andrew Gn created a collection that featured oriental patterns, retro shapes and artisanal touches.

The Paris-based designer worked with Italy's Clerici Tessuto to create a bold woven motif that was adorned across dresses, skirts and jackets, along with a hand-fringed trim. Gn also looked at Anatolian Iznik ceramics, which inspired him to create a tile-motif brocade, and a carnation flower print, used on crepe jackets and satin maxi-dresses.

Meanwhile, colourful bustier ball gowns in Ikat-style motifs and peasant blouses paired with flared crop trousers gave the collection a medieval/vintage feel, all for the glamourous nomad.
