Vogue.com's editor Caroline Palmer has joined Amazon Fashion as its new director of editorial and social. The ex-Condé Nast senior staff member will be responsible for driving which clothing, accessories and footwear trends are showcased on the site and its social media platforms.

“I look forward to defining how we communicate our point of view and bring even more value to Amazon Fashion’s large audience of 35 million customers,” said Palmer of her new appointment.

Palmer spent seven-years as editor for Vogue.com. Amazon are currently aggressively pursing the fashion space for its new Amazon Fashion project, and according to Jennie Perry, Amazon Fashion chief marketing officer, Palmer has "track record of launching digital platforms [and] creating and executing editorial content."
