It was as if a new room in Willy Wonka's fabulous factory had been unveiled. Stark white walls and a lightbox-styled roof were off-set with a candy coloured striped floor. The perfect play really for what was soon to be on show.

The Salvatore Ferragamo FW16 collection combined vertical and horizontal colour block shapes in stripes and zigzag. Edges were also cut in zigzag motion, accentuated with buttons and zipper details. Other key silhouettes included a return of the turtleneck and Pom Pom knitwear.
