This Fall/Winter MaxMara presented a unified collection, one which screamed women's empowerment. Born on the idea of modernity, the designs, cuts and colours of the collection were strong, feminine and above all else, powerful. Buro 24/7 Middle East spoke to MaxMara's Creative Director Ian Griffiths just minutes before his Milan Fashion Week preview, where he said the show was, "a strong message about powerful women. We always look at women but this year in particular, we wanted to express the dynamism of women who want to succeed in the world."

"MaxMara women can look forward to clothes that are practical and wearable but modern. Our clothes give them complete confidence. The world is dominated by men, and women need to dress in a way that gives them that confidence, and that's why they come to MaxMara."

The show, which opened day two of Milan Fashion Week saw models walk the runway with make-up byTom Pecheux and the MAC PRO team and hair by Sam McKnight at Premier Hair and Make-up.
