The Kim Jones designed Spring/Summer 16 menswear collection from Louis Vuitton kicked off to  a lively start with Chic's Nile Rodgers providing the soundtrack to the presentation. At first it seemed as if the clothes might take flight, as oriental birds, predominately the crane, adorned silk bomber jackets in oriental style embroidery and printed on silky pyjama short suits. Later on, more wildlife appeared in the same vein, in the form of a monkey and a black panther, all exuding a distinctly far eastern feel.

Elsewhere in the collection Jones found a sporty influence, with bowling style jackets and short sleeve shirts and relaxed but shiny sweat pants. Accessories were prevalent at the presentation with a wide range of oversized hold-all bags with creative handle attachments and multiple carry options. The stand out design was the explorer themed style that came with an external lace up.
