Phillip Lim presented his 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 16 menswear collection at Galerie de la Minéralogie museum earlier today. The mineral and geological setting, seemed appropriate as a portion of the lineup appeared to have sprung from the earth, with crystalline, and vibrant prints worked into fabrics, like the mottled green white and brown wide collared coat that seemed to have been chiseled from a fascinating rock formation, although the softness of the fabric swiftly shattered that illusion.

Elsewhere in the collection, silhouettes appeared relaxed and loose. Softly shaped double breasted blazers, three-quarter length pants and a hooded mesh top all felt easy going. Crisp whites and blues also pervaded, when the earth tones were not in play.
