Always scouting out new bands and photographing them for his 'Music Project' portfolio, a few days before his Autumn/Winter 15 show last night, Hedi Slimane posted a group of new images called 'Paris Sessions' on YSL's website and Twitter feed, showcasing 10 unique French indie artists including La Femme, Radio Elvis and The Pirouettes.

The new picture series informed the AW15 collection, one of the most sophisticated and simple lineups Slimane has done for the French fashion house to date.

Borrowing vibes from Paris' hip Left Bank area, cool leather blazers with a faint Western buzz, extra skinny jeans and leather pants dominated the Saint Laurent runway, as Azzedine Alaïa and David Furnish looked impressed sitting front row.

Thin, awkward models with shaggy hair were glamourised by Slimane's leopard print coats, beaded blouses and mink coats. While a few women's looks added an extra "wow" factor with fishnet tops, sheer lace and sparkly fabrics.
