Mr Porter introduces new in-house label, Mr P.
After launching several exclusive collections with coveted labels, online luxury retailer Mr Porter has curated a special range for its menswear clientele. Aptly named Mr P., the new in-house menswear line offers a suite of wardrobe essentials that are injected with the brand's 'easy pieces, smart details, enduring style’ aesthetic. From cashmere knitwear and Oxford shirts to denim and overcoats, the 53-piece collection — crafted in Italy, Portugal and Japan — is as masculine as it is minimal.
Explaining Mr Porter’s decision to launch an in-house label, Toby Bateman, Managing Director of Mr Porter, said: "The launch of Mr P. has therefore been quite organic for us; we felt there was a space in our mix of 400-plus brands for something that could present a unique take on wardrobe classics and also present regular capsules of more trend- and seasonal-driven pieces throughout the year. We like to think we have an unparalleled view of the male wardrobe, garnering the combined knowledge of our buyers and editors, and Mr P. is ultimately the result of that: smart details, easy pieces and enduring style."
