Last night, Maria Grazia Chiuri delivered an exceptional Spring/Summer ’18 collection on day one of Haute Couture Fashion Week and oh, was it as magical as we had hoped. A chic, Parisian take on feminine and masculine ball-ready silhouettes, the collection was strong and stylish and, as with every collection Maria has presented so far, celebrated all things women.
On the black and white checkered runway beautiful gowns, sleek pantsuits, luxurious kaftans and statement overcoats sashayed past a star-studded front row.
Naomi Campbell, Winnie Harlow and Willow Smith (who was behind the lens on the brand’s Instagram Stories) were in attendance, and we also spotted Emily Blunt, Olivia Palermo, Arizona Muse, Monica Bellucci, Natalia Vodianova and Alexa Chung — who was just named as the new face of L’Oréal Professionnel.
