Net-a-Porter founder, Natalie Massenet spoke to Bloomberg Business about the future of the leading online fashion retailer as it prepares to merge with Italian e-commerce store, Yoox. Signalling that she has no plans to step away from the business after the merger, which will see her move to the position of executive chairman of the joint company, and Yoox's founder Federico Marchetti becoming chief executive officer of the combined company, she said:

"We've only just begun," continuing that the scale of the business is all that will change. "We're going to be the same, but bigger," she said.

Massenet spoke passionately and authoritatively about Net-a-Porter's growth and future growth: "We're seeing really exciting strong growth in China, it was within our top 20 markets five years ago. It will be within our top ten in the next year." So it seems to be business as usual for Massenet.
