This week French luxury label Chloé hosted an exclusive launch event on the eve of the brand's highly anticipated exhibition opening at its newest home, Maison Chloé. Located across from the brand's Parisian headquarters, the exhibition of images, sketches, photographs and archived collections has been designed in collaboration with curator Judith Clark, who was inspired by the artistic works of Guy Bourdin, to celebrate the maison's 65th anniversary.
"I love the fact that in one room you will be able to explore the archival pieces," said Judith Clark, before going on to say that: "those objects are re-imagined in the exhibition next door, leading to a gallery of extraordinary prints upstairs. The Chloé dress comes in and out of the story and the building itself begins to feel as though it's experienced via Guy Bourdin's distorting eye."
With Chloé to celebrate the launch of the exhibition were A-listers and Chloé Girls Sofia Sanchez De Betak, Agathe Bonitzer, Camila Coelho, Aimee Song, Francis Kurkdjian, Justine Lee and Natacha Ramsay — who is rumoured to have taken over Clare Waight Keller's role as Creative Director for the fashion house.
