You may have noticed the recent red carpet trend of wearing barely-there gowns, and you are not the only one. Iconic designer, Carolina Herrera, has noticed also and she is not impressed. Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé have both been guilty of flashing a little too much flesh on the red carpet recently. Take their Met Ball outfits for example (Robert Cavalli for Kim and Givenchy for Beyonce).

In a recent interview with the Washington Post, the 76-year-old fashion veteran called out the girls for baring it all saying: "They're trying to get people to pay attention to them. In life, there should be a little mystery."

Herrera goes on to say that the ladies are supposed to be "fashion icons" and slams them for this new "obsession" to be barely covered. Commenting on the way other designers work she said: "It's so modern to be naked or almost naked. They think it's going to attract young people if they do those dresses. No."

Do you agree with Herrera? Do you think that her comments will have any impact on Kim and Beyoncé's fashion choices in the future?
