Paris-based artist Christophe Guinet has ventured into never-explored-before territory with a series of new sculptures – iconic Nike sneaker shapes made from flowers...

Reimagining Nike's classic footwear models in flowers and bark, artist Christophe Guinet has created a beautiful take on the iconic silhouettes in a series of sculptures entitled 'Just Grow It'.

The pieces are designed to make us question our preconceptions of the Nike brand, and sneakers in general, which usually conjure up thoughts of urban youth culture. "In these works, one can read a certain dichotomy between the marketing and media world in which we live and ethical values that are dear to me," Guinet said of the series, continuing, "this is an invitation for all of us to contemplate, to rediscover the beauty of a single seed of a wild grass, the delicacy of a flower, or the smell of the foam."
