Crushed Pepsi cans, glitter, colourful shredded paper and grey-toned walls set the scene at the Taller Marmo Resort '17 presentation on day one of Fashion Forward. The duo behind Taller Marmo, Yago Goicoechea and Riccardo Audisio, stayed true to the DNA of the Dubai-born brand, with similar seasonal silhouettes

Cotton candy coloured stripes were on show, layered with crisp white pieces and graphic jacquard prints, which were inspired by an Ottoman miniature made by Nakkas Osman in 1581.

Backstage the duo discussed the collection exclusively with Buro 24/7 Middle East saying, "We used patterns from our last collection that people really loved and new patterns that we love to create the Resort '17 collection. This is a continuation of our Fall/Winter '16 collection, which was all about nightlife. This collection however, we added more casual pieces that everyone wants to wear."

Featuring double-breasted jackets, distressed denim and bomber jackets, the duo continued to inject their signature style into the collection complimenting the looks with bicoloured kaftans, halter dresses and wide legged pants.

The 13 looks were complemented with leopard print heels and thin black socks. While hair, which was drenched in water, and glossy makeup was inspired by the Ottoman Empire. View the beautiful collection here...
