With the launch of Valentino Garavani's Rockstud Spike bag just around the corner, the Maison has released two campaign videos. Each 15-second video captures the essence of the handbag, which blends attitude with rock 'n' roll and street style, through a photographic project, aptly titled Humans of New York.

Photographer Terry Richardson, together with Pierpaolo Piccioli, who took the reigns as the new Creative Director at Valentino in July, worked to capture the new accessories ad campaign in lower Manhattan, New York. "Together we have explored the streets of lower Manhattan, in New York, to depict the way in which common people, randomly chosen with a street casting, carry the bag," says Piccioli. "We wanted to catch the uniqueness of the  'Humans of NY' to underline their personality and the power of diversity," he continued.
