A cool name to know in Australian accessories – ManiaMania – has enlisted the help of style icon Julia Restoin-Roitfeld to be the face of its latest SS14 campaign, inspired by a 70s horror film...

She's a name often called upon by savvy fashion labels to front campaigns, and now, Julia Restoin Roitfeld has joined forces with Australian jewellery label ManiaMania.

'Obscura' is the brand's Spring/Summer 14 collection drawing inspiration from 1977 cult horror film Suspiria, followers of Mania Mania will notice a definite shift towards darkness in the label's already haunting aesthetic.

There is also the first time inclusion of Lapis Lazuli, along with some striking angular shapes and obscure hints at dark magic. And if the designers were to give it a scent? "Roses and tobacco..." And we think that the images, photographed by Bjorn Ioossway, capture the notion perfectly...
