Last month, Sara Sampaio, Noor Fares, Lauren Remington Platt and Kristina Bazan, jet-setted to Beirut to celebrate Elie Saab's motivating initiative, aptly titled the Girl of Now. Created to support leadership and promote women empowerment, the project now sees the four female celebrities speak about building success, female entrepreneurship, pursuing their passion and personal growth in a series of black and white shorts.

Speaking about the series Sara Sampaio says: "The girl of now is just a girl who is not scared, is very determined and she knows what she wants and she's very vocal about it." Noor Fares — who recently spoke to Buro 24/7 Middle East about her understanding of the business — further explained the concept saying that the girl of now is "curious", before going on to say that: "She is independent and she structures the world according to her own vision. She's creative and she knows what she wants."

"The girl of now is a woman who is using technology to empower her voice, her platform in her message, whatever that is," said Lauren Remington Plattwhile. While Kristina Bazan says: "We are the first generation to experience the internet and social media and there's a lot of struggles and opportunities that come along with it. It's important to connect with yourself and find out who you are and what you want to do with your life and just do it."
