Peter Dundas unveils his eponymous label's second chapter for Pre-Fall '18
Titled "Dundas 2"
Since announcing his exit from Italian label Roberto Cavalli last year, Peter Dundas has continued to be a force in the world of fashion. One of his most notable recent ventures was his capsule collection for Moda Operandi which was celebrated with an intimate soirée with fashion's finest — think Lily Donaldson, Derek Blasberg and Sofia Sanchez de Betak.
Shortly after the collaboration, the Norweigan-born designer made his debut at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week with his new namesake label and a collection titled 'Dundas 1.' Now, the continuation of the designer's bohemian-meets-glamour aesthetic is here with 'Dundas 2'.
According to WWD, the new collection was inspired by "Peter's Girls" which includes Bianca Brandolini, Georgia May Jagger, Giovanna Battaglia and Poppy Delevingne. "They actually tried some of the clothes while they were still being made and they gave me smart suggestions," said Dundas.
The collection features tailored suits, modest maxi dresses, jumpsuits, dresses and off-shoulder tops crafted from embroidered velvets, sequins, floral chiffon, delicate lace and lightweight cotton.
