The man at the helm of Balmain now goes behind the lens to capture his first campaign for the French fashion house. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

Since releasing a coveted collection for the Paris Opera last month, Olivier Rousteing is now paying tribute to the Parisian city through a new campaign he photographed for Balmain. In a series of monochrome images — which follows the same direction as Balmain's Fall/Winter '16 campaign — Rousteing's new autumnal collection is captured on Lara Stone, Presley Gerber, Ton Heukels, Jon Kortagarena, Natasha Poly, Marlon Teixeira, Grace Bol and Aleyna Fitzgerald, as the Balmain Army walk the grounds of Balmain's flagship in Paris.

Speaking about the shoot, Rousteing says: Since our elections, like so many others, I’ve been focusing more on what it means to be French and why we choose to be here. I’ve been rediscovering what has always been here, including the magnificence of the streets surrounding me. I wanted to photograph this campaign to have the images directly reflect my vision of Balmain’s latest creations, as well as my love for the singular beauty of the city I call home.”
