Under the reigns of Johnny Coca as Creative Director, the luxury English brand Mulberry, have unveiled a redesigned version of the iconic handbag, aptly named the Bayswater bag. Coca took the timeless design to new heights this season injecting it with a fusion of fashion and structured simplicity by enhancing its silhouette and features.

"The Bayswater is such a British design icon, and all icons evolve," says Coca. "Think about cars. They adapt to the times. What makes an icon an icon is that you'll always recognise it. I wanted to ensure we protected the Bayswater's legacy and made it as relevant as possible for women's lives. It is such a classic bag, and one for every day. Since moving to London I've seen the Bayswater on a such a variety of women, and they inspire me, watching how they carry the bag, how they make it part of their style and their lives," continued Coca.

Uniquely designed in delicate leathers — think python, crocodile, calfskin and ostrich — the handbag has an on-point palette of heritage shades including rust, clay, oxblood and oak, along with new covetable brightly-toned hues. The statement bag comes complete with a structured handle, an updated Postman's lock closure and the Mulberry signature.
