"I have absolutely no idea, I didn't make myself an icon," starts Iris Apfel, at Aigner's latest collection campaign photoshoot. The 'fashion icon' who started out at Women's Wear Daily quickly became a (luxury) household name as an interior designer, and now the 94-year-old is one of the latest 'icons' to front Aigner's campaign. But ask Apfel where her status comes from and she'll say: "I absolutely couldn't tell you."

However, supermodel Tony Garrn, another 'icon' in the Aigner campaign says of Apfel: "The most inspiring thing about Iris, I think, is that she started to create and got inspired and inspired so many other people at such an early age."
