According to Dior couturier, Raf Simons, he chose the most significant styles from each era he looked at for his Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 15 lineup: "The romance of the 50s, 60s experimentation and freedom of the 70s," – which he showcased beautifully through the detailed clothes and accessories.

One of the first things you noticed as models strode out on to the scaffold runway were the striking shoes – bright latex boots with an architectural metal heel which resembled a see-through rectangle. However, as impressive as the boots were, Simons also channeled some Paco Rabanne inspiration in the form of colourful plastic hoops, seen weaved through different hairstyles, along with a few of the dresses.

Tops, skirts, second-skin catsuits (David Bowie-inspired) were also sprinkled with sequins or richly embroidered with other-worldly flower patterns, as Mr. Simons took us back to future.
