What She Said to make Dubai debut for International Women’s Day

With a panel of the region's most inspiring females
To celebrate International Women's Day, the W Hotel is bringing together some of the region's most impressive women to inspire others...

International Women’s Day is just around corner and is set to be one of the biggest yet. With so much talk surrounding equal rights and the treatment of women via the #MeToo movement and launch of the Time’s Up initiative, there has perhaps never been a time where women’s voices are being heard as loudly as they are now.

To celebrate the day in Dubai, the W Hotel is hosting its first What She Said forum in the Middle East with some of the region’s most inspiring females. The event marks the first time the global series has made its way to the Middle East and will see a panel including Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to conquer Everest,  Engy El Shazly, the first Arab hijabi ballerina and Somaiah Al Dabbagh, a professional bikini competitor and personal trainer, hosted at the W Dubai Al Habtoor City’s Wet Deck on March 7th.

The event will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis and following the panel there will be a Q&A session with the panelists as well as a fitness class by GuavaPass.

The inaugural event is the first of four planned across the Middle East in the next 12 months and each one will focus on a different W Passion Point: music, fashion, design and fuel (the focus of the first event).
