Following the launch of the Swarovski Creative Centre last month, Swarovski are continuing their support of design talent in the Middle East with the announcement of the Swarovski Innovation Forum. The two-day event has been designed to educate emerging design talent which will see talks, workshops and keynote presentations hosted by leading industry experts

Speaking about the Innovation Forum, Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Swarovski Executive Board, said: "We are delighted to reaffirm our commitment to the burgeoning design community in Dubai with this inspiring Innovation Forum. We can think of no better place to hold this exciting event than the new Swarovski Creative Center, which was established to support emerging talent in the region and to encourage innovative design."

On the schedule is a panel, Digital Natives: The Social Media Effect on Fashion, which will be hosted by Buro 24/7 Middle East's Editor-in-Chief Shannon Wylie. "The digital sphere is a powerful place, where innovators, influencers and infotainers merge to create and communicate," said Wylie. "This discussion navigates the digital platform and looks at how brands can harness social media and native online media to engage an audience whose trend choices and consumption behaviours are heavily driven by the internet."

The Swarovski Innovation Forum is set to take place from November 22 - 23 at the Swarovski Creative Center in Dubai Design District. Also, in other news, discover what Jason Wu had to say about his collaboration with Atelier Swarovski
