We're certainly in for an eventful start to events season in 2018 with the Golden Globes kicking things off on January 7. Rumour has it that a whole host of female stars will wear black on the evening as a sign of solidarity to gender equality and to protest sexual harrassment in the industry. And whilst we'll have to wait until the red carpet kicks off to see if that is indeed the case, the presenters for the evening have been announced overnight.

Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story's Penelope Cruz and Darren Criss, Alicia Vikander and Halle Berry are just some of the big names that will present awards on the evening. Kerry Washington, Emma Watson and Sarah Jessica Parker are also set to make an appearance on the night.

The 2018 Golden Globes will be hosted by Seth Meyers and will take place on January 7, 2018 in Beverly Hills. See the full list of nominees here, then discover the movies you can't miss seeing in 2018
