The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince Harry, marked this year's World Mental Health Day with a reception at County Hall, organised by Heads Together initiative, before making a special appearance at the iconic London Eye.

Giving a speech at the reception, Prince William reminded on the importance of changing the perception of the debilitating condition. "Mental health is not a dirty word – we all have mental health like we do physical health, good or ill," he said. "But not seeking help at those times when it all seems too much, or we are depressed or anxious, can impact the rest of our lives. Put simply, the three of us want to make asking for help no longer a big deal." That sentiment was echoed by Prince Harry who said, "It's time we ended the shame around mental health – the fear of judgment that stops people talking or getting help."

After the reception, the royal trio proceeded to the London Eye and shared a pod with a group of people who have struggled with mental health, where they took in the breathtaking London view, including the River Thames and Buckingham Palace.
