Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan has officially launched the first pre-service teacher training program in the capital, Amman. Offered at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, the inaugural program sees the participation of 200 teachers who will be trained further on the necessary skills and tools to excel in the vocation.

Calling teachers "partners in the education reform process", Queen Rania also said, "All we need is to be serious and ethical in implementing every step of every recommendation in this roadmap and we want to do this in partnership with you so that you can reach the goals we aspire to and the goals we want our students to achieve."
