Pharrell is really in the midsts of a golden age, he can do no wrong, there is no demographic that he can't reach. His latest project, to further prove his all encompassing appeal, will be a set of children's books to be published by Pitman Books for young readers.

The new deal comprises four books, the first of which is inspired by his 2013 hit song Happy, which was part of the soundtrack to the children's animated film Despicable Me 2. Due for a limited release on September 22, the book will feature children from around the world "celebrating what it means to be happy." Can grown-ups get it too?
