Continuing their week-long summer European tour, Kate Middleton and Prince William — together with Prince George and Princess Charlotte — left Poland and arrived in Germany at their city du jour, Berlin. Marking the first official visit to the country since Queen Elizabeth II in 2015, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in Germany for a three-day visit to Berlin, Heidelberg and Hamburg, in support of Britain's Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The British royals were first greeted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel at Chancellery in Berlin, who took them for a visit of the Brandenburg Gate, one of the country's most iconic sites. Kate Middleton — who wore a blue dress by Catherine Walker & Co., jewellery by Kiki McDonough and a clutch by Jimmy Choo — walked alongside Prince William en route to the Holocaust Museum.

Other notable highlights of their visit included participating at a children's charity centre, Strassenkinder, followed by a meeting with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Bellevue Palace. The royal duo also attended a birthday party for the Queen at the British Ambassador's residence.
