Kering and the Cannes International Film Festival join forces in a newly penned five year partnership. Kering has become the official partner of the festival as of this, the 68th edition, enabling Kering's clothing and accessories brands to enjoy the heightened exposure at festival events. 

In keeping with this year's elevation of women in film, Kering also wishes to highlight the contribution of women to the film industry. Throughout the festival, it will put leading figures in the spotlight, both men and women, organising discussion sessions in which they will be able to share their points of view, François-Henri Pinault, ceo of Kering, and husband to a leading lady in film, actress Salma Hayek, also wishes to involve his charity The Kering Foundation as well as Gucci's Chime for Change initiative in new initiatives.
