It was a night of celebration and girl power as Glamour magazine hosted its annual Women of the Year Awards at NeueHouse in Hollywood last night. For the 27th edition, the spotlight fell on several key individuals including singer Gwen Stefani who received the Icon Award, IMF Chief Christine Lagarde for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Ashley Graham for the Body Activist award and Yazidi Nadia Murad, recognised as the woman who stood up to ISIS. The night also saw history made as U2 frontman Bono was awarded the first ever Man of the Year Award, for his part in starting the Poverty is Sexist campaign.
