It’s official: A Spice Girls reunion tour is happening next year

Or at least four of them will be...
After months of 'will they, won't they' the day has finally come: the Spice Girls have confirmed a reunion is happening...

The news of a Spice Girls reunion has been rumoured for a very long time and to say that it has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions would be an understatement. Up until now, that is.

Overnight, rumour turned to fact as the icons of the Nineties girl band confirmed that they will be reuniting to perform across a few dates in the UK next year.

But you break out the platforms, there is one bit of bad news.

According to The SunScary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty Spice (more formally known as Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melani Chisholm) “will reunite for a thirteen date UK tour next year, which includes three nights at Wembley stadium,” however Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, will not be on tour.

Although disappointing, it’s not surprising that Beckham is not joining the tour what with her eponymous fashion label, Reebok collaborations, busy family and husband David Beckham (who will be joining the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their trip to Australia) all taking up plenty of time.

Well at least we can lay those reunion rumours to rest and prepare our visits to the UK next year. Time to work on our abs for the crop tops we’ll be sporting…
