Just when we thought that the music line-up couldn’t get any better for us here in the UAE, Dubai will welcome a brand new music festival, set to take place on our shores in October.
Joining Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Eminem and Travis Scott, pop icon Rita Ora and dance music duo Disclosure will be headlining a three-day festival, titled Wake Up Call.
Launched by W Hotels, Wake Up Call aims to take the festival experience off the fields and onto the fabulous hotel ground of W Dubai — The Palm, as performers, including Australian house music group RÜFÜS DU SOL, will take to the stage some of their greatest hits.
Also, not only will the festival be linked to music but it will tie in its celebrity chef-led restaurants Torno Subito and Akira Back, too. Great music, endless dancing and a whole lot of great food? Count us in.
Speaking of the upcoming festival, Global Brand Leader of W Hotels Worldwide Anthony Ingham, said: “Festival goers don’t necessarily want to sleep in a field, line-up for a portable toilet or sample the standard festival fast food. Our guests want all the playful luxuries of a W Hotel stay whilst they enjoy incredible artists and an authentic festival vibe. ‘Wake Up Call’ offers just that.”
