The 41st Telluride Film Festival kicks off in Colorado
Familiar faces in new places
While the majority of the acting world flocked to Italy for the 71st International Venice Film Festival, some Hollywood celebrities are staying closer to home as they migrated towards Colorado for the 41st Telluride Film Festival.
Casually discussing their films, communicating with the audience and sharing interesting behind-the-scenes stories, directors Jean-Marc Vallee (Dallas Buyers Club), Francis Ford Coppola, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Wim Wenders and Jon Stewart were all braving the altitude, as they debuted their new films.
An abundance of actors also joined in on the film festivities including Reese Witherspoon, Tommy Lee Jones, Hilary Swank, Steve Carell, Benedict Cumberbatch and Channing Tatum.
