Fox Searchlight has revealed a new fictional website, Akademie Zubrowka, to build anticipation for the release of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'

Building suspense for the release of The Grand Budapest Hotel - a movie directed by Wes Anderson, Fox searchlight, has released a new viral website based on the movie.

The site, Akademie Zubrowk, explores the fictional history of the Republic of Zubrowka - an imagined place, home to The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Visitors accessing the site will be able to explore the archive of Zubrowka's history that includes detailed accounts of cultural, political and artistic happenings - such as the coup in 1935 that recounts the involvement of the hotel and all its colourful characters.

Wes Anderson's project, The Grand Budapest Hotel, boasts a cast of celebrated names including Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, Jude Law, and young Irish actress, Saoirse Ronan.

The movie is based on the adventures of Gustave H, who works as a concierge at the famous hotel during the wars, and his most trusted companion, Zero Moustafa who works as a lobby boy - with a story line that highlights a family fortune battle and the theft of a Renaissance painting.
