Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the first official trailer for Goodbye Christopher Robin, starring Margot Robbie. Directed by Simon Curtis, the film tells the story of English playwright A.A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson), who, after suffering through World War I, created fictional characters to help him cope with his post-traumatic stress disorder as well as offer England a distraction from the war. Inspired by his son's toys, Milne imagined the fantasy world of Winnie The Pooh along with his friends, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. Australian actress Robbie plays Milne's wife Daphne, while Will Talston plays the titular role.

Goodbye Christopher Robin is scheduled for release on October 13. In other film news, watch the trailer for the Angelina Jolie-directed movie, First They Killed My Father.
