Pictures have emerged from a mysteriously vanishing Twitter account, that appear to show Michael Fassbender on set and in character as Steve Jobs, with Seth Rogen playing Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, in the biopic.

Filming has been taking place in Job's native California recently, including some sightings just down the road from the real Apple headquarters.

This film, simply titled Steve Jobs has been in the works for some time, as The West Wing and The Social Network script writer, Aaron Sorkin, penned a script some time ago. The Oscar-winning director of Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle, is at the helm of the project, and had been trying to assemble to right cast of players since his leading man Leonardo DiCaprio bowed out of the project, and reports that Christian Bale might be picking up the baton, were later dispelled.

We think that the diversely talented Fassbender is a great call to play the world famous Jobs. And this team of cast, plus Sorkin and Boyle, is likely to deliver a more considered and poignant portrayal of the events of Job's life than the 2013 Jobs film, which starred Ashton Kutcher as the man himself. Stay tuned to Buro24/7 for all the details of Steve Jobs as they develop...
