Good news, Jennifer Lawrence is coming back to a screen near you
After a year-long break
The Oscar winner has signed on to a film directed by Lila Neugebauer (this will signal her Hollywood debut) with a screenplay by Elizabeth Sanders. In addition to starring in the film, Lawrence will also co-produce it alongside Scott Rudin (the man behind No Country For Old Men) and Eli Bush (Lady Bird).
This won't be the first time the actress has stepped behind the camera, having made her directorial debut in 2016 with Project Delirium.
The film has yet to be titled and there's very few details being shared just yet, including who else will star in the film or its plot. We're excited because a new film means plenty more red carpet appearances in the future and we all know that J. Law brings the goods to those.
Now, if you haven't watched the first full trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King, you need to.
