The 12th edition of the Rome Film Festival is almost here and it's shaping up to be the perfect platform for showcasing some of the best films in the business. From red carpet premieres to fashion-driven exhibitions, the festival is set to open with a Christian Bale-starred drama film, aptly titled Hostiles, which will see its first Italian premiere following its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.

Other highlights also include the inauguration of Fendi's new exhibition, Fendi Studios. Showcased at its Roman headquarters, the brand — which recently delivered a must-see Spring/Summer '18 collection show — will turn its headquarters into a series of interactive cinema studios, while exhibiting Fendi's costumes and furs that were showcased in previous films.

Also, some of the other must-see films include crime-drama film Detroit, directed by Kathryn Ann Bigelow; comedy-drama film I, Tonya, which sees Australian actress Margot Robbie play the protagonist; and drama film Mudbound, which stars American singer Mary J Blige.

The Rome Film Festival is set to run from October 26 to November 5. The Fendi Studios exhibition will run from October 25 to March 25, 2018. Now, shifting from film to design, discover what Dubai's Downtown Design exhibition has to offer next month
