Fashion designer Tom Ford debuted his latest film Nocturnal Animals at the 73rd Venice Film Festival. Starring Hollywood heavyweights Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, the film is a cinematic adaptation of Austin Wright's book Tony and Susan and tells the story of Susan (Adams) who receives a book manuscript from ex-husband Tony (Gyllenhaal). Masterfully intertwining actual events with the story in the manuscript, the thriller later sees Susan questioning the motive of the story and whether it's a part of a revenge plan by Tony.

Other notable attendees for the red carpet event included Oscar winner Colin Firth as well as French actress Sonia Rolland. See the best of the red carpet arrivals here...
