It's a mixed bag of cultural events this weekend as Abu Dhabi opens a highly anticipated art exhibition while Dubai sees the launch of a new luxe tea session as well as plays host to rock 'n' roll royalty. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the places to be and be seen.

But We Cannot See Them art exhibition

NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery presents its spring exhibition titled But We Cannot See Them. The show puts the spotlight on a group of pioneering contemporary artists in the country who, devoid of exhibition space in the '90s, became an 'underground' art community. Fortunately, a blooming arts movement in the UAE afforded them the opportunity to later bring conceptual and experimental arts onto the public spectrum and the new exhibition will showcase key works by artists such as Hassan Sharif, Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, Abdullah Al Saadi and Mohammed Kazem, over a period of two decades from 1988 to 2008.

Guns N' Roses concert

The last time the band's legendary members Axl and Slash shared the stage together before this comeback tour was in 1993 and fans can once again rock out to their classic hits including "Sweet Child O' Mine", "November Rain" and "Don't' Cry".
