Weekend culture guide: July 21-23
Ayyam Gallery, Dukes Dubai, Address Boulevard
From a thought-provoking arts show in the heart of Dubai's arts district to a new British-inspired experience in a new five-star hotel and a reinvigorating session for a perfect summer escape, these are the places to be and be seen this weekend.
Our Night is Long art exhibition at Ayyam Gallery
Explore different artistic interpretations of the unrest in the Middle East in this multi-discipline group exhibition. Inspired by Mahmoud Darwish's poem, Iraq's Night is Long, six artists – Sadik Kwaish Alfraji, Sama Alshaibi, Thaier Helal, Rula Halawani, Fathallah Zamroud, and Tammam Azzam – showcase their conceptual works that reflect the region's current socio-economic and security climate.
Our Night is Long runs until August 31 at Ayyam Gallery.
The Spa at Address Boulevard
Indulge in a host of pampering spa treatments from an Amber Silk protein body polish and hot stone massage to a black soap scrub and full-body Ayurvedic massage. For the perfect seasonal refresher, opt for the Summer Renew package that includes a lulur scrub, a shea butter body wrap and a massage to realign and awaken the senses once more.

The new Tea Lounge at Dukes Dubai
One of the newest hotel destinations on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, Dukes Dubai has now opened its new must-try afternoon tea spot. The aptly named Tea Lounge offers quintessential British fare – think cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam – along with sweeping views from its intimate terrace. For the early risers, Tea Lounge also serves a Duchess Breakfast for ladies in an exclusive private space.
