This new cookbook is the perfect read for anyone who loves sweet things, as it features 60 of Daisy Lowe's guilt-free recipes - providing scrumptious yet healthy sweet dishes - as she swaps artificial sugary substances for all natural ingredients.
"Sweetness & Light is the result of my journey to discover the craft of baking guilt-free delicious treats," said Lowe, "I wanted to create a collection of recipes that ensure you can enjoy sweet things without harming your body. The new book is divided into seven chapters of all things delightfully delicious, including Make You Feel Great Cakes, Skinny Puddings and Scream For Ice Cream.
The 25-year-old Londoner - who has previously modelled for Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton and Agent Provocateur - has had a passion for cooking since childhood, sharing recipes with us that she says won't harm your body or feel guilty about eating the next day.
"I never thought it would be possible for me to kick the sugar habit until I moved to New York," Lowe said, "There, I tasted natural products that give you a sweet hit without harming your body. Recently I also found out that I am intolerant to wheat and dairy. A few of the healthy substitutions I've made for wheat, dairy and sugar in these recipes will be new to you, but you will easily be able to find them in health-food shops and online.
