Taschen has just launched a new book that showcases exceptional black and white photography works by Sebastião Salgado, a Brazilian documentary photographer and photojournalist. Aptly titled Kuwait. A Desert on Fire, the book follows the historic events post the US' decision to drive Iraqi forces out of Kuwait in 1991. Stated to be one of the biggest environmental disasters of all time, Salgado travelled to the Middle Eastern country and captured the extent of the blaze.
