Recently tasked to build Dubai's newest megastructure, The Tower, Calatrava is renowned for a large variety of structural designs, from bridges to buildings. Drawing inspiration from wide-ranging subjects including NASA and Leonardo Da Vinci, highlights of the Spanish architect's vast body of works includes the Athens Sports Complex for the 2004 Olympic Games, Seville's Alamillo Bridge, Calgary's Peace Bridge and the Mujer Bridge in Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires.

The book offers an insight into Calatrava's design ethos in bringing together natural human  movements with nature itself, creating a fluid, futuristic structure that has very much become his trademark.
